September HQ Edition
Another month, another blog (slightly more on time than the last edition!)
This is the blog where you find out what is going on behind the scenes at Solace HQ, and what exciting things are coming up... written by me, Dan, the founder.
September seems to be a bit of a blur to be honest, anyone else feel like that?
I mentioned in the last blog that we had taken on another team member, and we are excited to welcome Stefanie, who started at the start of September. She has picked up the orders super quick and has an amazing background in sustainable packaging, so we are definitely going to be looking at our business and looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint!
The team:
I spend the month recruiting for another exciting part-time role that we have created to further expand our knowledge and help more people wear earrings comfortably. But more on that next month!
After Lindsay's op, which I mentioned in last month's blog, our mini-moon was put back a month, but I am pleased to say we got away for a much needed week with Henry to Fuerteventura. We had an amazing time and feel so blessed to have been able to celebrate our wedding and get away after such a rubbish 2020! It's safe to say Henry had a blast!!
There is lots of exciting things happening in the coming months, so we have all spent most of September preparing and making sure we have enough stock, packaging, and everything else required to ensure we are ready for the festive period.
The photo-shoot was particularly fun this time round and has us all in the mood for Christmas already! Too soon, I know.
Here's a few teasers as to what is coming up:
- 18 mile charity walk for Sand's Charity on 12th October (check our our Instagram for more on this)
- 3 for 2 will run from 1st October until 20th December
- Halloween and Christmas stock will go live 1st October
- Lots of earring sets, perfect for gifting, will go live early October
- More gifting options will be available at the checkout
A huge thank you to every single one of you that has read this blog, supported our business, donated to charity, and sent us such lovely messages of support.
We will continue to improve our product and service, and strive to help everyone look and feel great!
